National Teacher Appreciation Day is May 8, 2018. Shared below is an easy Teacher Appreciate Day gift idea that kids can make with very little adult help.
Easy Teacher Appreciation Day Gift Idea
Teachers give families an incredible amount of their time, energy, commitment, and care. And though we often feel we could never thank them enough, it’s nice to recognize the teachers who impact our kids’ lives during Teacher Appreciation Week.
As an educator myself, this is definitely a gift I would enjoy receiving—especially in the spring months when many schools become hot. A cool, sweet drink in the middle of a long day is both energy and spirit-boosting!
To Make This Craft You Will Need
- drinking jars with coordinating lids and straws
- single serve drink packets
- twine
- single hole punch
- free printable gift tags
Directions
Invite kids to fill the jars with single servings of iced tea, lemonade, and fruit-flavored drinks. Next, cut out the printable gift tags, punch holes in them, then tie them onto the jars with twine!
Easy peasy, and super frugal!
