How to Make Spring Glitter Jars
These 3 spring-inspired glitter jars are perfect for mindfulness, meditation, and quiet-time activities because the glitter swirling on the inside of the jar really helps to calm down the emotions of kids. As the glitter swirls around the mason jar, it has a simplicity about it that holds the attention of kids while helping to diffuse big emotions at the same time.

2. Pour 1 cup of corn syrup, followed by 1 tablespoon of butterfly confetti and 1/3 teaspoon of silver glitter into the jar.

Can You Use White Glue for a Glitter Jar
Clear glue, translucent colored glue, and glitter glue are best for glitter jars. White glue gives glitter jars an opaque milky appearance, which makes it difficult to see the glitter.
If you wish to make a white glitter jar, try coloring your water with white liquid watercolor.

Why did you use corn syrup with the butterflies?
Melissa Lennig says
Great question. I should add the reason to the directions. I used corn syrup because clear glue creates tons of tiny bubbles, which is fine for regular glitter, but not for viewing the butterflies. Hope that helps!
