Writing thank you cards teaches children about the importance of relationships, courtesy, respect, and gratitude. Studies show that people who feel more gratitude are generally happier and more resilient; two very good reasons to get kids into the habit of writing thank you cards at an early age.

Free Printable Thank You Cards for Kids
My children received some very thoughtful gifts this past Christmas from family and friends. Now they are joyfully showing their gratitude by writing thank you notes. These simple printable thank you cards make showing appreciation easy and fun. Kids only need to address the card, print the gift received, then sign their name. As my children grow, writing thank you cards will eventually include “why” they loved their gift, but for now as they are in the beginning stages of writing, this style of card suits them.
The back of the card is blank, making it perfect for kids to decorate with drawings, stickers, and stamps, or for pasting a picture of themselves enjoying their gift.
Directions
Download your free PDF file of the Christmas thank you cards.
Invite kids to cut out the cards with scissors. Help your child write what they need to, then invite them to decorate the back of the card. Slide the card into a 5×7 envelope and mail it off!
Easy peasy triple cheesy, as my little one would say!
