Inside: Kids will love creating a whimsical No-Carve Nature Pumpkin with pinecones, nuts, seeds, leaves, and twigs. Perfect autumn fun for families!
Halloween is just around the corner! If you are searching for simple and unique no-carve pumpkin ideas, you may feel inspired by our No-Carve Nature Pumpkins. My children enjoyed scavenging a local park for leaves, pinecones, acorns, maple seeds, twigs, and Ohio Buckeyes! Nature pumpkins are easy to assemble and look cute for fall.
No-Carve Nature Pumpkins
Making a no-carve nature pumpkin is easy and fun! To make nature pumpkins, you will need a hot glue gun, a pie pumpkin, and natural materials from the ground. We are blessed to live near a park that grows Ohio buckeye trees, but you can buy buckeye nuts HERE if you don’t have any in your area.
To Make This Craft You Will Need
- small pumpkins
- acorns
- buckeye nuts
- twigs
- leaves
- maple seeds
- pine cones
- leaves
- hot glue gun
- paper punches (optional)
Directions
Secure all of the natural items to the pumpkin with hot glue. We used buckeye nuts for our pumpkin’s eyes, acorns for our pumpkin’s nose and ears, maple seeds for eyebrows, and a curved twig for the mouth.
My son used a paper punch to cut circles from brown oak leaves for our pumpkin’s “rosy” cheeks. Our maple trees haven’t changed color yet, so we couldn’t find any red leaves to use.
